I'm in week 7, still increasing my dose, but I wouldn't say the food noise has decreased as much as I'd hoped and I've only lost about 5 lbs. And I still have a day each week that I feel like shit from side effects. Not sure if I'll continue because the weight loss is not making up for the side effects.
If you do decide to give up on the semaglutide, I recommend trying tirzepatide before giving up on GLP1s all together.

Oh thanks for the suggestion. Do you have a provider you like who prescribes tirzepatide? I'm not as much disappointed about the weight loss, but the food noise just really hasn't changed much and the side effects are horrible.

Because with compounded I get a vial for $300-$400 that I can use for months and months and customize my dose weekly as needed.
Go ahead and tell me this is is using the medication differently than intended or that it's dangerous. I'm comfortable with the "risk."
