That’s not the the extent of the plans, which they keep changing on the go. There are many people concerned about it, including teachers at Langston

My kid is in 11th and everybody knows them and they seem to know everybody. They like the small vibe and STEM focus.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:I have 2 kids there. It’s not a trade school, but does have access to vocational classes. Kids there opt in for the stem. I’m sure a q and a night is there for folks interested. The school is small, but the kids I know are getting into excellent schools.
New school opens in September. Kids from all schools already attend the CTE classes so I’m hoping that nothing substantial will changing socially
Thank you. So is the student/teacher ratio much lower than WL?
It certainly feels like it. It is a small pond . With expansion of new building things will change, but the small scale really suits us. The kids that have left tech want a big pond, more typical high school environment. The ones that have stayed or transferred in enjoy the size and focused program.

What is the point of DE credit if it’s a full ride anyways?
NP graduating sooner/starting grad school early
Yes, but if its a full ride why cut college time short, its generally a fun and rewarding time of life AND its how you build connections and maybe find romantic partners.
I guess you can start the work grind earlier, yay?
Not everyone has the same path as you.
Grow up.

Less classes you have to take to earn your degree. Many kids can earn a masters in their 4 years instead of just a bachelor degrees
