That's the same type we have. I don't remember the cost, maybe around $20K? We've had it for several years now and it still gets used frequently. My teens and their friends love it. Maintenance isn't difficult and we do drain it twice a year. I think you're either hot tub people or not and we knew when we bought it that we were hot tub people. It was definitely worth it for us.

We got one in 2022. The tub itself was $16k and then the electrical and concrete pad added $3k. Definitely worth it for us - helps with recovery after sports events, relaxation, and sleep quality. We are also in a colder climate than DC and we love using it in the winter. Maintenance isn’t too bad, but it uses a ton of electricity.

We paid $30k all in for a top of the line hot tub that requires very little maintenance. Had to reinforce our deck to take the weight so that added to the cost. Worth it in our opinion, but that’s very subjective

I bought one in October and we started using it after it was installed just before Thanksgiving. I absolutely Love it! Between the four of us, we use it nightly. My teenage daughter loves to have friends over, I love sitting under the stars and listening to my meditation music before bed and drinking tea. My husband and I love going in together and my teenage son also goes in almost every night. It’s my favorite purchase. I was a person who took a bath almost every night for relaxation and the hot tub is so much better in my opinion. And yes, I do clean and keep sanitation levels in check and do weekly maintenance myself with the chemical checks, it’s not the hard. We have saltwater tub too. I wash filter monthly and once a week do a non chlorinated shock. We will switch water out before spring and then again before winter next year. Like the idea of plunge pool in summer as I can see the hot water might not be as appealing in our muggy weather.

We have one and use it year round, much more than I expected. DW will take some wine out and enjoy the jets about 2x a week to relax and unwind. Works for us.
