I moved my neighbor's stool. Not to park there, but because it's so obnoxious at this point. And littering the street.

I'm in DC a few times a week and was there all day yesterday. It's amazing how many cars have not moved since the snow storm and are surrounded by snow and ice. I drive my 4WD truck when I have to go to DC just so I can park on un-shoveled mounds of snow. I don't know where I would have parked these past few weeks if I drove my car. I don't blame anyone for calling dibs on the spot they shoveled out in front of their house. But, I also see your point. There has to be a limit. Hopefully it melts enough this weekend for this to be over with. Until next time.

Seems a resident who cleared the space has priority over the family that didn’t clear a space and forces their nanny to park in street while keeping their driveway cleared and empty.

It's weird that you would "let them know" - it's street parking. You don't own it. If they were parked there for a week, ok I'd get it. But a day? Dude...
