FWIW, my mom's name is Carol and we would not have used that if we'd had another girl. We planned to use Caroline in her honor instead (ended up with a boy).

Reading this thread has made me realize that I really don’t like C names as a whole. There are only 2 names that I actually like out of this entire list and a 3rd one that is just ok.

I don't like those names wither but my name starts with a hard C sound (I use a K) and I don't know why you say this

Camille over Camilla both are cute and give a variety of nickname options

Caroline or Carolina over Carol

Candice is ok, but don't shorten it to Candy

Camille only one not dated as others said. May I suggest if other two have meaning for you as middle? My daughter’s middle name is dated but it’s to honor her grandmother who passed say before birth.

Another vote for Caroline, one of my favorite names. Carol is definitely an old lady name, and not even a good one that should come back into fashion. And yeah, I actually used to like Camilla, but not anymore.
