Universal Studios in Orlando

We did this a few years ago. We ended up with a Costco travel package to Hawaii. It wasn’t cheap but also wasn’t insane ($9k for flight, hotel, car for family of 4).

Granted this was a number of years ago, but after thinking we wouldn’t be able to do anything for spring break due to a trial my husband had scheduled, the client settled and we were able to get away for a few days. Flew to Ft. Myers and drove to the Westin at Cape Coral. No beach to speak of there, which is why I’m sure there were still some really nice rooms, but there is a pool in the complex, and a water shuttle to Ft. Myers Beach, which we did one day. We also drove down to Bonita Beach and out to Sanibel and Captiva, so we got our beach-going in. Took in a spring training game (Red Sox, I think).
