Married 49 years in our 60s nothing absolutely nothing

Love that others are having fun with it.

We have a great marriage we celebrate the date of our first date that’s our Valentine’s Day

Late 40s married for 20+ years. Will be going to a nice restaurant and maybe a show (our children are old enough to not need babysitters) and then having a fun private time.

We also always do gifts and include the children in the gifts as well. I enjoy an excuse for celebrating and I am not cool enough to dislike a Hallmark holiday.

Mid-40s. We use Resort Pass to get a day pass to a local hotel and we spend the day having lots of naked time. We bring a bottle of wine, some great snacks, and spend 5 hours reconnecting without the risk of a kid knocking on the door.

It’s kind of surprising all of the restaurants are booked when no one is going out.

I'ma taking my 12 years old daughter to dinner. I am divorced. I look forward to it. Actually ex DW is supposed to have her that day, and I ask her if I can have her instead.

Late-40's, married 20+ years. I am going to sit down and write out all of our financial assets, debts, passwords, etc so that if I croak, the surviving spouse will not have to play detective. I heard a financial planner once say that is real love (when you are gone and your financial affairs are in order so that there is no mystery or stress).

I'll be working.

Heart-shaped pancakes for the kids, who will be spending the rest of the day at their dad's. A relaxing day alone(ish) for me. I may buy myself chocolates and/or flowers. We'll probably do ravioli or something for dinner the night before.

I'm alone by choice at this age.

Not by choice in the beginning, but now I'm exhausted by the idea of starting over again with someone else. I've had too many peers find romance and marry again only to end up caregivers for 2nd spouses who have gone into long term disability or just flat out died.

I unsubscribe from it all, Valentine's Day will just be my usual.

PS the OG question was what are your plans for V Day ... not "for those of you in a relationship"

Mid/late 40s and together 22 years. No specific plans. Maybe cheese fondue and a movie at home.

In our 50s, dating two years. One of us is working, so nothing that day but we plan to exchange cards and go bowling on a different day. LOL

Mid/Late 40s - married 17 years. We will probably order heart shaped pizzas from our local pizza restaurant and pick-up some chocolate strawberries from the grocery store. We stopped doing the whole big thing when we had kids and I don't miss it.
