Have not...
SYC has completed 2 ID sessions and offers rolled out after each session. But yes, some players won't have offers until after the 3rd session (if they are invited). If you are external to SYC and were not invited to the 3rd session or had an offer, unfortunately it might be a 'no' for now.
Would you be invited to the 3rd session if you have received an offer? Curious, I heard about the invite only session, but not 'officially', even after my DD was offered a roster spot.
Are you an outside player? Not part of SYC yet? Maybe they only invited kids who they need to take one more look at.
-I think that is accurate. If you have an offer already, you are good to go. Inside the small space, they really need less kids on the field to make a better assessment.
Makes sense. Yes, DD is an outside player joining SYC.

Ok good question. If your DD wants to play ECNL or GA next year 'and' they are born between 1 AUG 2013 to 31 JULY 2014, then you should go out for the ECNL or GA ID sessions.
Otherwise, you can just wait for the normal Spring tryouts for U12 or the non ECNL/ non GA teams.
However, if your DD is amazing and missed the ID sessions, you can still contact the club you are interested in to try for an ECNL or GA slot. This is because the ID sessions are so early, they might have holes to fill from March until July.
