No, she isn't. This is the problem when ppl ignore the details. She didn't do this because she has ethics or morality. She was being overwhelmed by attys who ACTUALLY have morality and ethics fighting for their clients. They were burying her in appeals.

Forgive my cynicism but...

Le was appointed to the Minnesota Board of School Administrators by Tim Walz in 2024. Then she just HAPPENED to resign from that post in April 2025 to work as an ICE prosecutor...

Then she engaged in a courtroom stunt, which resulted in wall to wall headlines, telling a MN judge her job "sucks" and jokingly asked the judge to hold her in contempt so she can get some rest??

Then she's (of course) fired...and decides to run for Congress as a Democrat a month later?

"Le said she had dozens of cases and recalled one involving a man named Fernando who looked like he could be one of her relatives. She stayed at ICE, she said, in part because if anyone got arrested she thought she’d be in a better position to prove that they were here legally."

ANOTHER SHOCKER

"Le said she had never voted for Trump and opposed his brash enforcement style."

uh.. so? What are we supposed to be outraged about this?

Apparently we are supposed to be outraged anyone would think Trumps immigration policy is stupid? Who knows. They seem to be outraged at everything

No matter how “friendly” the judge they are still going to be pissed if their order is flouted. Maybe they will Grant fewer habeus petitions but again - most judges actually will pause for a second at a good habeus petition. It is kind of a big deal. There may be a few Trump judges that literally do not care about rule of law, but most judges do care. Being a trial judge is not actually a super relaxing lucrative job - most lawyers go after it because they care about the law (no matter their politics).

She was no longer with the firm she had worked for, she had been working for DHS:
Julie T. Le, who had been detailed from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) after working for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), made the remarks during a court hearing this week.

as a DOJ lawyer, she sees what Trump's ICE is doing. Every nonwhite person should be afraid as she is.

Minorities who voted for Trump are complete morons. Would serve them right if they or their family got picked up by ICE.

If the Government undertakes an enforcement operation of
this scale, one that results in the detention of large
numbers of people, including individuals who are lawfully
present in the United States, then the Government assumes a
corresponding obligation to ensure that each detention
complies with the Constitution and with court orders
governing release. Volume, that is, the volume of cases and
matters, is not a justification for diluting constitutional
rights and it never can be. It heightens the need for care.

idk if anyone has put in the link for just the trancscript:

Another quote:

I wholeheartedly embrace the notion of a unitary
executive, as in DHS, ICE, the DOJ, all a part of the
Executive Branch. And if there's a problem in the
restaurant, I don't intend to go in the kitchen to try to
figure out who makes the bread. And all of it is part of
the Executive Branch. And so it is not an excuse to tell me
you contacted ICE because ICE is also part of the unitary
executive for accountability purposes.

Could Trump's biggest claim for being president (immigration) turn out to be the think that tanks him in the end, even before SCOTUS?
