Sweet summer child, there are two more months of winter. What is going to happen during the next snow event?

McPS already has 5 snow days even though it has budgeted only for one and didn’t even bother submitting a plan for virtual learning to the state.

There is no accountability in MCPS or the county about 180 days of instruction. It is a random number, padded up. With the little content they actually teach, they can afford to miss a lot. Neither principal nor central office could show me exactly how much and what is required. Full CKLA is designed for 170, all of it.

The only ones noted in the calendar besides the end of the year are March 20 and April 15.

No we didn’t. There were just late openings before. So with tomorrow we have taken 5 and have 4 to make up.
