The Jefferson cup has gone downhill. not as bad as CASL/visit Raleigh but it is getting there. it has become a tournament of RL, a few bad ECNL teams and ga teams so that's the competition level. our club stopped going.. waste of time

I like the part where we have to pay $250 per night for a $120 a night hotel room.
They always get you with the 8 am Friday game to make sure you are stuck with a 3 night stay!

As an RL parent, I think these tournaments are ridiculous. There are no coaches watching 5th bracket RL teams. And if my kid wouldn't lose playing time in league games by not attending, we would not attend. At this rate they might be the first games they play this season anyway. Can't wait. And yeah, the hotels are horrible. Love the pot in the hallways especially.

maybe but they still changed their procedures for who they accepted and why they denied. they admitted it in the emails they sent denying teams.
