That was literally in the first post

We played with neighbors, we caught up with old friends, and we are hosting a play date so their Mom can work today. I have 6 kids all playing dolls, playing outside, playing school since there is no school and we are creating and eating fresh fruit and veggie creations.

It is but I am a published author and we embrace creative writing in my house. We do this stuff on weekends even when the weather is nice

Teenager: out visiting neighborhood friends or have friends come over from time to time; sledding; reading; video games; craft projects.

Tween: mostly the same but more screen time and fewer hours wandering around the neighborhood before coming inside.

So, mostly self-sufficient fun, but I will say they're kinda bored after four days of this.

This can't be real.

My teenager has smoked a bit and disappeared with his girlfriend for hours at a time. We haven't let him drive in this but other than that it's business as usual. He is a mostly As kind of kid so I'm ok with it, it is what I sort of wish I was doing with the time.

+1. I think the timing has been wonderful. Since the semester hasn't really started yet, there is little work to be done. My kid has been sleeping, hanging out with friends, helping around the house. It's been nice having him home and not stressed. I'm sure I would feel differently if he was still little.

Sledding, shoveling, making money shoveling, hanging out with friends, playing inside, practicing instruments, video games, movies, reading. Its been a lot of fun!

My HSer has gone skiing and sledding, hung out with friends, and gone to the gym. Today she's doing homework in case school actually opens tomorrow.
