I think it's gross you guys are talking about other dates. That's kind of rude. If neither of you is sure, bringing up other people is like checking that you're cool with "whatever happens".

A friend of mine recently dated a man who was "separated" and getting divorced. Turned out his wife had no idea and had been house-hunting given that they'd need space for the new baby that was on the way, lol.
