I hate, hate, hate Christa Miller and her horrible plastic surgery, though. Boy did she luck out snagging Bill Lawrence who keeps creating role after role for her.
I have loved Christa Miller since being dr Perry's wife in Scrubs. She was so mean and now she's still kinda whiny and mean and spoiled. It's just perfect for her. I don't notice plastic surgery but her face goes with her character. I love her voice. I still remember the line last season where she said "I still ovulate" - it was hilarious and so perfect for her, for that role.

I don't know who they convinced to include several minutes of the Valjean-Javert duet but holy crap. Was maybe the best thing I've ever watched (I realize I am in a tiny minority here). And then to end with Jason Segal singing Nightswimming???

I thought for a bit that Treat Williams was in this show until I found out it was Ted McGinley and that he is very much still alive.
I love Gaby's clothes in that they flesh out her character's personality
Shrinking and Somebody, Somewhere are very much needed repositories of kindness in programming for me

Anonymous wrote:I just finished binging Season 2. I really love this show too, but like many others, I really really hate the incessant vulgarity. This is a show I'd love to watch with my teenage kids but don't because of the dialogue. I don't get it. Bill Lawrence clearly knows how to do this without the language - see Cougar Town, which this show (and its relationships) clearly draws from.

Well the pilot does, for sure. Unclear if MJF appearance was a one-off or will be recurring.

Anonymous wrote:The show is wildly unrealistic but Harrison Ford is really good in it (Ted McGinley is also a scene stealer). The main character is the least likable person on the show.
