For the sake of others, I will give this summary from Google — it’s the autobiography of a boy who had a medical condition that made him conscious but trapped and unable to communicate for much of his teen years and his path back from it, including building a career and falling in love.
I think as a mom of teens this would upset me too much. I get super affected by stuff like this and fall into a dark dark space so I need to watch what I can read. For some reason books affect my mental health much more than TV or movies.
