I hope you understand that Trump wants these files in every blue and swing state, to purge rolls and otherwise cause damage to the elections. There is no legal or sane reason the federal government needs these files. Each state conducts their elections. Period. Full stop.

It's not up to them or within their authority to enforce. If states believe their are issues of voting integrity, they can investigate.
