Line up your ducks, ignore him, play dumb and see if he has the balls to file for divorce.

Certainly write him off and see a lawyer, have some separation docs stated you get 100% custody, do the child support math and whatever alimony if it applies here.

Be ready, have him sign it. May need a witness or handy notary at the ready

It's hard to imagine but someday you might feel like you are better off. It takes a while and your kids' situation needs to be stabilized. But have hope. In a few years, you will likely have reached equilibrium again.

Your husband could be having a mid-life crisis but it’s really a moot point if he actually forsake his family. 💔

I would take some time to heal your heart ➕ life before jumping into immediate dating.

How is you finding someone for sex in the best interests of your children?

Your friend is an idiot.

Are you?? Sex is a great form of self care. Having OP’s needs by just dating is the best thing for her kids. Her cup needs to be full to pour into her kids.

NP and mine did it before the book but I truly do think that men seek social permission to walk away. It’s sort of how like guys start to panic about marrying and settle down fast once they start attending their guy friends’ weddings. In my case, mine ditched us just a week after he heard that my college friend’s DH had left her.

I suspect that Belle Burden’s story might have a similar effect.
