No one should be forced to register. Male or female.

Lots of boys do not have parents. Lots of boys don’t have involved parents. Lots of boys have parents who are not American citizens and didn’t have to do that.

I agree with you for the most part, but i am a naturalized citizen and this was one of the citizenship test questions. Most immigrants would know this perhaps even better than the native born Americans.

Lots of boys do not have parents. Lots of boys don’t have involved parents. Lots of boys have parents who are not American citizens and didn’t have to do that.

Y'all are we really complaining about this?

First of all, service is MANDATORY in most developed nations around the world. It's not a draft, you MUST serve.

Plenty of us have loved ones that volunteered so yours only has to sign up for the draft. Call yourself thankful and move on.

My 16 year old knows all too well. He will register, but I will never let him be drafted.

This is why we don't have the Equal Rights Act. Opponents did not want women to be drafted.
