Also, as of Monday afternoon models are feeling out a possible ~10 inches of snow for Saturday and Sunday.
Buy winter jackets. You can probably get them at a thrift shop for $10-20.
Have you been to a thrift store recently? Anything warm enough for 9 deg will either be UN-gently used or $40. Influencers have ruined them for low income people.
Not kids jackets.
Yes, kids’ jackets. I buy jackets and coats for my students. Everything at four unique thrift locations in the area was thin, battered to hell, or over $40. I have better luck with the Macy’s sale.

One of my weather apps says 19-23 inches and my other weather app says 12-18 combined total for next weekend. And we will not go above 32 degrees until an entire week later on 2/2. Of course this could change but if it actually snows this much we are definitely not going to school on Tuesday. My street doesn’t even get plowed for days during the biggest storms.
Anonymous wrote:Seriously? There’s nothing unusual or dangerous about the weather tomorrow. It’s just normal winter cold.

I see 1” on Saturday and 3-5” on Sunday for our area.
Which app are you looking at?

I think the question is “might they close”, not “should they close”? I think one thing we can all agree on is that decisions this year have been inconsistent and sometimes questionable.
So, while I agree with your sentiment I also think it’s possible that they will delay.
