Yes, I've seen the same thing since shortly after winter break. It shows what I think looks like a really good score, but I'm wondering if it's even valid? There's still no document listed in ParentVue that shows the percentile...just the score.
For sure valid score. The document probably will be a little late. It’ll show up eventually

The MAP expected growth midyear is like 3 or 4 points. The standard error of measurement is plus or minus 3 to 3.5 points. So a lot of kids look like no or minimal growth who are just fine. Look at unit test performance, etc.
A couple of my students who have shown AMAZING growth in class came in at almost identical MAP scores compared to fall. I’m not worried.
+1. It happens. Test scores go up and down even if kids advance in classwork.

2nd grader MAP score improved by 18 points. Fall was 96 percentile, now is over 99 percentile.

Geometry students only needed to take it if they scored below 50% in the Fall. Especially if the whole class was above 50% (all of my 8th grade Geometry students were this year and last), a teacher won't give up a class period to take the test - the calendar is tight enough as it is.
That's pyramid dependent. Each regional superintendent got to make that call. At our school, everyone in any SOL course must take it 3 times.
