Can anyone comment on social life for a straight, white guy who isn’t playing a varsity sport? (He’s an artist, drummer, rock climber, very left/progressive). I have heard there’s a big athlete/non-athlete divide.

Enjoys her classes (math major, statistical modelling minor), has made a great group of friends, plays a sport, isn't in their very competitive conservatory but still able to play her instrument (apparently the studios are nice) & I think sings in a group. Oberlin is in a rural location, but only 20 minutes from Cleveland/airport and near Interstates 80/90. Not as rural and more accessible compared to some of the New England LAC’s…
