For my part, I’ve gone to Capital Skin and Laser (or is it Laser and Skin, I can never remember) in Friendship Heights, and they’ve been great. I’ve also been to Sara at S+P in West End, also very good. All I’ve done is Botox though and now I’m considering HA filler under eyes and possibly sculptra. I’d love to know DCUM’s favorite injectors for all three, ideally themselves MDs in relevant disciplines or under the supervision of surgeons or similar specialists, but not 100% necessary if someone is really trustworthy. I’m not really interested in the mass market medspa chains but perhaps others will be.
TIA
I have also been to Sara and had a great experience! I had lipo done at their office and found it difficult to get onto Dr Someneks schedule for injectables. She does a great job and was trained by him so I feel comfortable going to her as an NP.
Would you recommend her for Sculptra? I saw her mentioned in a previous thread and am thinking about getting Sculptra after weight loss!

I'd love to know more about who these injectors are and what they do that defines their 'look'.
Like, is there an injector who is crazy about temple filler or master Botox or something and recommends it to all their clients even if they don't 'need' it? Is it just an injector with a heavy hand whose clients look frozen?
A chunk of my friend group goes to the same dermatologist in McLean. They all start to look the same. It’s a pretty overdone look, but they all rave about this Dr

I went to her based on your rec on another thread here! She did Botox for me and it was very natural. Thank you for sharing!

I used to to think this but I'm friends with several surgeons and they all say forget the MDs for botox and filler, go to the PAs who are doing it all day. The actual doctors are by and large not doing continuing education or much volume in this space at all so it's kind of like thinking you'll get the best ear piercing from your GP. Can they do it? Yeah. Is it the gold standard? Not really.

She’s a very experienced injector and I’ve always been happy with my results! Noticeable but very subtle.
