I am 48 and I wouldn't date him. I don't think women date older unless they don't have their own money.

DH has a close friend from college. Tuned 50 last year and in the last 22 years I have known him, always dates twenty somethings. Never saw him with anyone over 30 and is now with a girl who graduated college in 2023.

Has a decent job, not really good looking but talks very well and is entertaining.

Short answer is yes and depends on the age difference- would say 15-20yrs is the max

We had a nice date but I don't think we had much in common, and physically he was tall and attractive, but looked his age. Just wondering since I feel like one of the reasons he was likely looking to date someone younger was to possibly still have kids, but overall it felt a little strange to date him (had we decided to be bf gf). It didn't feel like it would be a partnership.

How old are you?

Wait until you're 40- this will all change! Trust me.

Don't make the stake of marrying
someone that much older.

I know, I’m not planning to marry that much older.

So, you're that predatory species of loser who looks for injured women. I dated one of these when I was in my early 20s and coming out of an abusive relationship. He was 38. As soon as I was sorted out mentally, I cheated and dumped him. I don't feel bad about it because he had no business swooping in to take advantage of a girl more than 15 years his junior. F--k men like you.

Money. You need to be generous with it or choose an ugly woman no one her age wants.

No woman who has options is signing up for old meat 20 years past its prime unless it comes with a side of money.

I don't care about the 30- and 40-year old after me right now. They want what men want.
I want the 64-year old. He didn't do anything to attract me. He was being him and going about his business.

In other words, men your age want sex, and you don't, so you're going for the 64-year-old? That's almost as old as my parents...
