I think this is terrifyingly similar to 1938 Germany, so I stay silent on social media. I know how to contact people i trust and organize with in ways that aren't publicly broadcast or tracked by companies I don't trust. Nothing I say or don't say on Facebook is going to help at this point.

No. I would be putting my job at risk if I did, and I can’t afford to be fired. I’m afraid to even post anonymously about it. I speak to people in-person only about politics.

I used to really worry about that w my side gig and meeting new ppl. Over it. My ppl will find me and I hope to god ppl know where I stand on things. 12 ppl contacted me to ask who they should vote for for school board as I was very vocal about education on social media. So, it’s with it for me to be planted firmly in a camp.
