Any cosmetic dermatologist recommendatikns in the area for lasers or Botox? Would be great to know where people have had good, and even more importantly, not so great experiences?

NP - has anyone done ultra clear or a fraxel laser. I’ve been weighing those? Also, anyone been to a cosmetic dermatologist in the area they would recommend?

1- what is “baby botox” vs regular botox?

2- what issue does the CO2 laser address vs IPL?

thanks!!

NP-i actually had iPL on Friday of last week. IPL addresses redness and pigmentation. IPL does not address forehead wrinkles.

All are actually really good. But, when I was a kid, I spent way too much time outside without sunscreen and so it shows now.

How about recommendations - does anyone have a cosmetic dermatologist they recommend or would not recommend? Thanks!

Everyone is different with how they respond but light Botox that doesn’t freeze the face worked for me and I only need to get it every 6 months. Because I’m not getting much of it, I’m spending under $300 when I go, so somewhere around $550ish a year? There are med spas owned by licensed MD’s, so you could go to a dermatologist for a consult or a med spa with a licensed MD.

As someone with deep forehead wrinkles that I HATE, I did Botox for a few years but it wouldn’t work completely (wrinkles were more faint but still there) and wouldn’t last long. I have heard CO2 laser works. If anyone has done this, please share your experience!! I can’t see much online regarding this procedure specifically for forehead wrinkles but I have heard it’s the best laser specifically for wrinkles.

I remember going to the dermatologist office and seeing a bunch of old ladies with very shiny foreheads. I don’t know when having a smooth and shiny forehead became such a goal.
