I was friends with someone in college who cheated her way thru school. I didn't judge her then but it became a stain on her that came to define her as I got older. It was not hard to let the friendship wither and die.
The crazy thing was that she did not even try to hide it.

I would entirely forgive that. Getting vaccinated is a public service. There aren't that many former nurses rushing to get vaccinated that it adversely impacts the health of little grandmas and grandpas who also need it ASAP.

PP is missing the important part of the situation. It isn't about the vaccine itself but about what it says about the person who would do this. Character and integrity are things I value highly in those I am friends with and the ex-nurse lying to get something before others tells me that they do not possess either quality.

I couldn't respect them.

I don't know if I call it judging or just being annoyed a friend votes complete opposite of her actual beliefs when you talk about politics such as immigration and abortion. She swears she really feels that way but votes another.

This was right when the vaccines were released in limited amounts and appointments were hard to get. she literally did take a spot of an elderly person or an actual frontline worker. I have a legit healthcare license and wasn’t working in a hospital and could work virtually and I did not take the spot of an elderly person or a frontline worker.

Same I can't forgive it either these people took shots from the elderly and from actual front line workers.

Eh...I could see why this was thought of being a big deal at the time, but there were plenty of people who "jumped the line" to get a COVID vaccine earlier than they were supposed to. At the end of the day, another person getting vaccinated is beneficial for society.

Elissa Silverman staffers wanted people to take photographs of cars in Maryland CVS parking lots with DC plates. What an insane time.
