If you don’t even have kids, take good care of yourself, you can easily look good and attract men of all ages.
I’m pushing 50 and definitely no longer at my peak.

Feel like dating a college athlete? Feel like dating someone five to ten years younger? Feel like dating someone your own age? Feel like dating a top corporate executive in his late fifties or early sixties? All are easily achievable. They are all swiping right.
It's delusional posts like these that keep me on DCUM. Thank you!
I know more than 1 woman who has had this experience - the entire list. It sounds like it's exaggerated but it's really not. These are skinny, active women with college+ degrees and good jobs.
Well, as a thin, pretty, grad school educated white woman in DC, surrounded by other pretty, thin, educated white women, this is delusional. I don't know a single woman that is in her late 40s dating a 20 year old. And honestly, the idea is gross af. Most of us have sons that age.
Anonymous wrote:5 to 10 years younger is not someone in their 20s. I do know people in their late 40s who have dated people in their mid-30s though.

Getting likes or clicks from men on my profile is easy but maybe less than 10% of them would carry a consistent conversation and less than 2% of them would be willing to meet on a date. Again, finding sex is easy but not very meaningful for me so dating has to lead somewhere and I just don't date because of sex. I am having very very hard time in finding someone who would be interested in LTR. My last relationship was 3+ years ago and now I see that to be much better than what I am getting out there now. Maybe I would have tried harder in my previous relationship but who knew. anyway, finding any way of LTR is extremely difficult at my age though not impossible.
Why is it more difficult now for you than a few years ago?
Not sure but maybe it has to do with how I look. Gained some weight and that’s what makes it challenging I think. I am more than 185+ lbs at 5’3”
Why don’t you work on yourself?
I’m around your height. I weigh 130 and 5’4” and do not feel good about my weight. I feel overweight. Sorry, 185 at same height is not just a little overweight. I feel chubby around my face, arms and waist at 130. Trying to eat better, run and walk more and do more weightlifting this new year.
