I am straight and I do appreciate a fit male body but don’t need to see anyone’s 🍆 flapping around. Nothing aesthetic about that.

No, but i’ve been to a female one once with my bf at the time. It was fun, but not probably something I’d do again unless I was drunk and it seemed like a silly idea like the first time.

I went to one many years ago for a friend's bachlorette party. It was a gay strip club and all of the male "dancers" were skinny little twinks. And they had to wear socks on their penises because it was (maybe still is?) to be completely nude. It was really depressing.

I’ve been just strip clubs with women a couple times in DC and New Orleans. Kind of just wanted to see what it was all about. I don’t really get it.

I went one time in college with a mixed gender group of progressive friends, as sort of a “that would be an entertaining new thing to try out”. Also, as I recall, one of my friends wrote for the campus paper and she was going to turn it into an article, so we all treated it as a bit of a field trip. It was super entertaining for the first couple songs, kind of like going to karaoke or a drag show or bowling. And then it gets a bit more boring, and you start to look around and realize that around 80 percent of the room is bachelorettes, looky loos, etc. But 20 percent are sad, lonely women who may be there alone, or with a small group, and these women are horny. Sad, grinding, lick lipping, glazed eyes. And my friends and I were like, okay this makes us feel icky and maybe it’s less entertaining than we thought. The dancers seemed fine, and I wasn’t worried about them. They seemed totally in control of the situation and being generally respected by the women in the audience.

The male strippers I know were largely gay but danced for straight women

I used to work next to a bar that did chippendales male strippers weekly. On that night, the women would come in to my establishment for snacks and small bills etc, talking about the men and which one fancied them, etc. The women were similar- obese, white, single, over 30, mid level jobs.
The men would come in, too, for cigarettes, talking about how disgusting the women were,
how they were only going this until their next big dancing of acting part, how they hated doing it.

I wouldn’t have in my 20s/30s when I was trying to be a “proper” woman but now in my 40s I think it would be a lot of fun.

I think girls/young women are conditioned to not feel lust, told they’re not as sexual as men, shouldn’t care about men’s looks, etc. But it’s very liberating when you get older and become more in touch with your sexuality and what you actually like, vs what you’re told to like.

I’ve seen clips of shows where they bring a woman onstage and flip her over, it’s very sexy. Would love for a man to do that to me.
