I think these are preferences. I don't prefer Kimchi; Kimchi is not a food crime.

Dishwasher Salmon is a food crime.

The crime is not in using raw onions; the crime is in not disclosing.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve asked about onion and been assured that there is none, only to find it in my food. Chicken salad is a frequent offender.

Understood.

Yes not disclosing ingredients - especially when asked - is valid.

Oatmeal raisin cookies. Not only are they awful, they tease you because from a distance they appear to be chocolate chip.

F them.

This is adorable and I would buy it a hot second if I had room for it (I have way too much Le Creuset as it is).

Wait staff are overworked and it's easier to just answer the question any which way than actually find out. This is what happens when they get mandatory "tips" automatically put on the bill and they no longer have to work for them.

What is dishwasher salmon? (Do I even want to know??)

DP, but I haven't heard about this in a long time. I didn't know people were still doing it? Wrap a side of salmon in foil (probably a few layers?) with whatever seasonings you want. Throw it on the top rack of the dishwasher and let it cook.

My dishwasher goes for 2.5 hrs and dishes come out HOT. I cannot imagine how overcooked fish would be after cooking for 2.5h at 150f or whatever it is eek

"let it cook" as in, do your dishes. Run the load. If that wasn't clear.

More of a menu crime, but no chocolate dessert option
