I think she’s so cur but not conventionally pretty. Wonderful figure. I think it was just a tad unbelievable that she would be with the type of men she dated. Used to live in nyc and most of those finance dudes like Big date/marry other wealthy women (either by career or family) OR like immigrant models. And if you notice in the earlier seasons Big was less serious about her until they basically changed his whole character by the end.

This. She was nuanced and imperfect. I don't get the dislike, the substack posts about how "In a world of Carries, be a Natasha" (mind you, Natasha had about 15min of screen time over the course of the franchise), etc.

Yes, she was neurotic. She could be self-absorbed. She was definitely a jerk to cheat on her bf with her married ex. But few women are perfect.

Early days of SATC, SJP looked amazing.

SJP has always had a certain unique vibe, which obviously served her well. She has had a very long career (starting in childhood). To me, she evokes a certain “it girl” quality like Winona Ryder. Gen X gets it even if the rest don’t.

And she looks a lot like several Jewish New Yorkers I know.

Of their three kids, one looks exactly like Matthew Broderick and another looks exactly like SJP

But you never see them featured in the mini-me segments the clickbait places like to do
