That wasn't PP's point. Yes, it's a budget airline. The point is that being CEO of JetBlue is a big deal--doesn't matter that it's a budget airline. You're still CEO of a publicly traded company.

Which would matter if they didnt finish their comment with an absolute lie. Bowdoin has a lot more high profile ceos than Holy cross alum. Makes sense- Bowdoin is a better school.

Completely wrong. Bowdoin, Williams, And Amherst do a lot better than Holy cross and babson is a joke for if you actually want a successful Wall Street career.

Of course, LA are taught everywhere--institutions large and small. The point is, college is not vocational school, as many students/families seem to treat it. A true liberal arts education, as the article points out, develops critical thinking and creative synthesis, which are cognitive skills needed across disciplines.

DH and I were surprised when our DD chose a SLAC, but the idea is growing on us. In the age of ChatGPT and other study shortcuts and digital distractions in classes, I'm curious to see whether the smaller seminar-style classes advertised result in more engagement. I know this isn't exclusive to SLAC's.
