Does Maine count as rural? Tiny island along the middle of the state?

I know a kid who lived in a medium size city in a really random flyover state whose parent was a legacy at a good east coast school. I think they need a pulse to get in early.

Questbridge has income limits, usually less than $65K for a family of four, but there's leeway. How much do you expect a professor making $55K to spend on their child's college education?

UVA was targeting rural areas of VA

For privates. Texas targets rural areas of Texas and CA does the same for the UCs. I both places people get triggered. Privates have traditionally neglected this group.

If college in a nearby state, then no.
