Vienna too!

How about those clubs do a better job with their players? She had zero opportunities for exposure and improvement until she went to Vda.

She thanked Vda in her post. She thanked HP elite in her post.

sounds more like she stayed with ECNL all the way. not about GA vs ECNL. fitted perfectly with her age group with changes.

Would have been better off financially going to FSU on scholarship with some NIL money. Probably would be better off soccer wise too. Oh well, keep chasing those dreams.

Totally agree. Should go to FSU for at least a year or two to confirm she is actually good. Way too early to tell. Total gamble...and no, I'm not rooting against her, I hope she makes it. Chloe Ricketts, Phiffer and at least 4 or 5 of these young ones look like duds as it relates to having a professional career. They would have benefited from college.

Shows that despite what clubs try to sell you, and whatever narrative parents try to make from it, a player can develop just fine at any of these clubs. Stop chasing coaches and clubs. It’s the player not the club.

Yep. Different type of contact.

What does that mean? She’s not playing with the professional team?

The NWSL introduced the Under-18 Entry Mechanism on November 14, 2022, establishing a formal process for signing players under the age of 18.[2][4] As of 2024, the NWSL allows teams to have up to four under-18 players between their private entry list and roster. Players must be signed within a month of being named to the entry list, and their contracts must last through the season in which they turn 18. Until coming of age, under-18 players may not be cut from their team's roster nor traded (unless the player and her parent or guardian consents) nor selected in an expansion draft.[5] In addition to contractual protections, under-18 players are required to live with a parent or guardian and use separate showers and locker rooms.[

She went to VDA as U16i believe when YNT started to get picked up. She wouldn’t have gotten a call up at those other clubs (except NVA) because of the age group. And she has been working really hard outside of club settings. No magic bullet. She was a talent before coming to vda and vda put her out in front of the line.

All you clowns claiming that clubs developed her...you guys are the perfect customers. Our kids aren't developing at clubs. It's all the extras and the hard work by the players outside of the mandatory team training. If you think clubs are developing your child, you are way way behind.

So no development all over the last 2 seasons?

How many national camps and YNT trips did she make at all the other clubs? I think that number is zero.

The world opened up to her when she went to VDA. She was coached. Coaching matters, people.

She was playing up as a young 08 on a stacked NVA 07 team. If anything, it shows how flaky the YNT system is that she didn’t get a shot sooner.

Or it shows how ineffective and useless the NVA coaching staff is. That you, MH and PL?
