I would definitely cancel. This is entirely unprecedented and therefore no one’s advice is based upon relevant experience.
Imagine how you would feel if your children experienced something traumatic…

To be fair, things have gotten more risky there in the last few days / weeks. More of the country is classified 4 now.
Colombia last week / yesturday was not the Colombia in April.
Are you the friggin OP? The OP made a point of saying she just checked and it's now Level 3. My point is it's long been Level 3. So she shouldn't be making the decision on that basis.
There's no reason not to go to Colombia. None. You all are losing your shit over nothing.
Try reading the newspaper before you make such categorically ignorant statements. Trump has threatened Colombia. I have travelled to Colombia a dozen times for work and think it's a beautiful country both for tourists and business professionals, and I wouldn't take my kids there now with all the global uncertainty and the volatility of this administration for fear of not being able to get back.
I hate Trump as much as the next guy, but you sound unhinged. I have a trip planned next week to another country in the region that Trump is on record that he doesn't like one bit, and guess what? I'm going. Trump ain't stopping me.

Sounds like you don't have a paying job you need to come back to or a family that needs you home. Rough life you had.
My God, man, it's a couple extra days in paradise. Cry me a river.
