Depends on school. UVA, for example has very similar admission rates for female vs male.

Yes.
His gpa is perfect for all Va schools even Uva who looks for higher gpa’s.
Submit score… at 11th grade it will be even higher .

Your school likely has this data available if they have Naviance, School Links, etc. it’s better if you look at the stats kids had from your school

Admissions offices will vary, but some care more about the applicant meeting a minimum / threshold PERCENTILE score on SAT or ACT, rather than focusing on either the raw score (out of 1600) or on having the very highest raw score.

The statistical difference between a SAT (contrived example) of X and X+100 might be really minor and not a big deal for admissions.

Your kid is a junior. My 4 kids all got their highest score September of 12th. Have him forget about tests now, but take it again in June or August and then in September/October. He will definitely score higher after 11th is over!
