Kohberger first attempted to call his mother at 6:13 a.m.
When she didn't answer, he called his father at 6:14 a.m.
He successfully connected with his mother at 6:17 a.m. for a call that lasted 36 minutes.
Later that same day, he had another extensive call with his mother for 54 minutes at 8:03 a.m.
In total, Kohberger spent over three hours on calls with his parents that day.
But sure, they’re just a normal family and were shocked - shocked! - when the FBI raided their home.
Cite? I’m pretty deep into this and have read several books, and watcher multiple crime shows on it and haven’t heard this. It wasn’t in the arrest affidavit.

Anonymous wrote:It was stupid. She basically said nothing. The reporting was beneath NYT.
In short, the family was shocked. He probably has autism. Their lives are destroyed but not as bad as the victims.
Nothing new that we didn’t know before.

No, reports from multiple sources indicate that he was definitely not normal. Which doesn’t preclude him being nice to his sister, and being given a standard upbringing.
He is not normal, is she?
