Pardon is a personal act that removes an individual from jurisdiction, and has no legal connection to anything outside the people who were pardoned. Trump pardoned the Honduran leader individually, not a class of people like when he vaguely pardoned "everyone who raided the Capitol on Jan 6 2021" .

Not illegal to own. They are just heavily restricted to the point of being insanely expensive. It’s essentially the same model we should follow with semi-automatic weapons next, starting with semi-auto long guns and high capacity magazines. Nothing gets banned, but it does create an ever shrinking pool over time that is available to fewer and fewer people. The second amendment remains in tact.

Is it illegal for US government? Is it illegal in Venezuela for the Venezuelan government to have machine guns? What a ridiculous statement. Any jury is going to say no to this.
