Did you say you are there for the kids? I left my H in a similar marriage dynamic after 24 yrs, I've now been divorced for 27 years and haven't regretted it for a second. He and I are friends. There was no abuse or narcissism or meanness, just lost the feelings. Well, definite libido mismatch too but I waited until the youngest was out of HS to make my move. Much better than being unhappily married to each other. And by the way, the kids are and have been fine the whole time.

Yes ainknow people chnage priorities change with kids, elderly, work.

Here I am sitting with nothing. We barely talk unless its necessary for some task.
He always snaps these days so I always try to avoid conversations.
But I do miss those days and think of them often.
Sorry … but just venting out.
Wondering if I should pick up anything at all.

Do you go on date nights or even for walks by yourselves?
The “can’t get enough” fever naturally subsides but you can maintain a strong, less intense love … as a PP said, it does need gardening…
