1000x yes to this. There are a few prominent clubs that have very little interest in player development and solely recruit from the outside to get better. Major red flag IMO.

When did SYC rise? They’ve always been viewed as a lower level club with a large player pool. The coaches got new gear. Hooray.

I find it funny how some families on these forums think recruiting is a sign of a great club. To me, it’s often a red flag. If a club can’t develop its own players and depends on pulling talent from elsewhere, that’s not something to brag about. Actively recruiting other clubs’ players and celebrating it actually speaks negatively about the club’s development model.
