I like it but don’t like any of the nicknames. They all sound very dated.

Fun fact: Patricia was Grace Kelly’s middle name. I’ve always thought Grace Patricia is a lovely name.

Maybe use it as a middle name?

I have several friends named Tricia ... and yet I still don't like the name Patricia.

Patsy is a terrible nickname. If you do this, def. use Tricia as the nickname.

Completely disagree. I know one Tricia and one Trish and they are beautiful, wealthy, smart women with amazing jobs and fashion. Not old either.

It's fine. It's recognizable and spelled correctly, and there's nothing wrong with it. The connection to your mom is nice.

I am not a fan of Patsy, which is ruined for me by the Patsy Ramsey association.

Too many kids named with hand picked names only to turn out very mediocre

It sounds dated, but then again lots of old-fashioned names are becoming trendy again. My own kids have Boomer names, so I can’t really talk. I think it’s sweet that you want to name her after your mom. And it has the advantage that everyone can spell it and pronounce it, and she’ll probably be the only one in the class. Patsy and Trish(a) are both fine.

It just screams boomer to me. And would get nicknamed to Pat, which is very mediocre. Patty or Patsy or a little better but it's still not cute.

Of this genre of name, I like Rita (Margaret), Judy (Judith), and Suzy (Suzanne) better.
