While I think some people associate it with maga, I refuse to give up our flag to hateful people. I fly the flag in front of my house.

There are a lot of American flags in my neighborhood. It's a patriotic place. Many people here seem to be on second careers after military service.

With the flag alone, I'd assume you were just patriotic.
Agree with the "no trespassing" near it, it suggests a gun owner and I'd be afraid to turn around in your driveway.
You could get a new nice US flag. Or keep shopping for a special one. The Internet has everything.
You could get a sign that says "Private Road" instead.
Just need to turn the warning level down a little.

I think the bottom line for me is that it does feel jingoistic -- at least for me -- in the current climate. So I'll take it down. I really need to do something anyway, the flag is faded enough that I can't really leave it in it's current condition even if I were to want an American flag there. (The "No trespassing" thing is definitely coming down, lol. No one is going to trespass back here anyway, so I find it weird that the prior owners of the house felt the need to put that there.)
You could always do a state flag.

Yes, but that is a very different context. No one is going to mistake you for MAGA there.

Combined with the No Trespassing signs I would think you were maga or at the very least conservative Americans who own guns and don’t like immigrants.
I’m in LE and the blue line always meant Police. Well now when I see the blue line in an American flag, usually it’s black/white/blue, my first thought is white supremacy. I hate that the blue line got taken by them, but it did.
