Has he always been this way? If so why does it suddenly matter? You presumably knew how he dressed when you married him.

If his poor dressing his new maybe he's struggling with his mental health.

When part of a coordinated look, yes. They're making a comeback. Do try to keep up.

I keep up with fashion and if my boyfriend showed up at dinner in a fedora I would laugh and ask if we needed to hit Game Stop on the way home. Wtf.

You're using English words but not making any sense. Game Stop?

So, you're children? Your boyfriend is a boy?

Check back when you have a men. They dress better. And don't play video games.

Yes. We're children. I'm a child posting on a message board for adults and I still have enough sense to know that fedoras are for the nerds at my school.

At least you acknowledge your puerile behavior. Now, get off DCUM and get back to class, lass. Grownups are talking here. It's not a place for you. Children are to be seen and not heard.

Are you a neckbeard?

What on earth are you prattling on about.

Wearing a fedora has been a neck beard stereotype for probably 20 years. Just Google it if you’re confused.

Not OP, but in my case, it was appropriate and fine for DH to wear college t-shirts every day during the day and every night to sleep, back when we were ON campus, as broke students, 15 years ago. But he’s still wearing them! WTF

I used to buy my dh clothes, and he'd be happy for me to continue, but I'm mostly checked out of our marriage so I don't anymore.

We almost never go anywhere together, so it doesn't matter.

You're an adult and his wife.. I'd simply be honest with him.

Or deal with it.

And fedoras are to be trashed, not worn. Good day, m'lady.

This. Jokes about fedoras aside I am kind of curious why this is suddenly a big deal to OP. I would assume he's always dressed the same, right? Men tend to not make any changes to their style. Presumably his style was good enough for you to date him and fall in love.

Stop OMG of course fedora mom is the type of person who doesn't use terms like "boyfriend" or "girlfriend" but "partner" in an attempt to sound sophisticated lmfao.

Does your husband call you m'lady

No but he holds the door for me and is otherwise chivalrous. Why do you think that's worth of mockery? Were you born wrong or raised badly?
