Hope this does not continue but it looks like it will. Between the data centers and Trump killing the cheapest and fastest way to meet demand means residential power users will see their rates increase hugely.

If the data center boom is a bubble then prices will come down due to excess supply. If it's not a bubble then prices will not rise as much because there's extra capacity

Increasing electric generation is something most of th country needs. Regardless of data centers, we don't have enough capacity to keep up with the demand that comes with electrifying everything.
