Is your husband tall? Sometimes my 6’3” husband will put things where I can’t see them in which he thinks he’s being helpful by putting something away (where it doesn’t belong) but he’s not.

Did you check under things? Sometimes I have put something down only for someone to put something on it and it’s buried there. It will show up once you buy a new brush though!

It’s near where you picked up your car keys.

When this has happened to me, I have found the brush in my purse or coat pocket. If not there, check any furniture in the house, including sofa and armchairs, and check in the corners and under pillows. Sometimes when I'm in a rush, I will drop things on the back of a chair or on a seat cushion and then it gets covered up or pushed to the side by another family member and *poof* it's gone. When my cell phone is misplaced, this is most often where it is.
