I don't have a problem with it in general but once he did it when I had Air Pods in (so I didn't hear him coming) and I was bent over picking laundry up from the floor. He smacked my butt and I whipped around with the pants in my hand and they slapped him across the face. I actually experienced genuine fright in the moment and reacted accordingly. He was obviously upset about being struck by the pants but I explained that while I was sorry, it was a reaction to what he had done. That was the last time he did it in the wrong place/wrong time.

DH and I both cover our butt and walk sideways up the stairs and we laugh the whole time.

I don’t think cooking while free from harassment is unusual, definitely not unusual enough to warrant watching trad wife videos. If you’ve expressed your feelings, your husband is a real jerk to continue his “amusing” game. I can’t imagine this is the only way he is a *hole. Sorry you’ve got such a jerk on your hands.
