There is NO universal "cutline" across FCPS. The "cut" depends on the school. The line is going to be considerably higher at schools that have a high-performing student body compared to schools that are lower-performing.

Yes, it means your kid is in the pool and will be screened no matter what.

Does universal screening email mean the student is in the pool? The kid got hight scores (NNAT 160, NGAT 159). I was busy and did not fill out the parent referral, should I do it over the weekend, just in case?

Yes, cutoff depends ENTIRELY on school.

A 136 is very high--like the 99.5% ile nationwide, so that likely will be good at most schools, just based on national percentile and where cutoffs have fallen.

That said it might be higher (closer to 140?) for the handful of very high-performing schools in the system.

And it will be much lower at the lowest-performing FCPS schools. There are probably a few schools at the opposite end of the spectrum where scores in the mid 120s will get in.
