Subject: Do you expect (or appreciate) friends & family to remember your loved one's death anniversaries and reach out?
No, I can't imagine anyone else remembering that date (and I have wonderful friends and have lost a sibling and parent).

I have texted friends' families on the first anniversary (or around there), but not an ongoing thing.
One of my friends who passed celebrated orthodox xmas, so I will text her mom on that day (only child, single mom) and sometimes her (passed friend) birthday.
