Yes they do but only for certain top colleges. Usually it’s a college where our HS is a true feeder (sending 5 or so kids/year). Some are T10, but many in that T11-25 range.
How do I know?
My oldest a few years ago didn’t get in ED (double legacy and our HS is a feeder) and they prepared us. Ended up at Ivy.

How long ago was this? Years? Decades?
2 years ago. To be fair, I worked at a private with a class of maybe 70-80 kids. Lots of ED & lots of parent involvement. It was best for all parties involved if CC knew ahead of time.
