Will you pay their rent? Nurses, bus drivers, flight attendants and restaurant owners send their kids to Hunter and commute from these gasp boroughs. And their kids will be the boss of yours later on

As I understand it the biggest reason to go to Hunter for K is that it guarantees you a spot in the high school, but that’s probably an alluring enough offer even for a few Staten Island kids.

I bet there are people dumb enough to make their poor young child schlep to Hunter from Staten Island or far out parts of Brooklyn, Queens or the Bronx. It really isn't that great.
