This is what I did recently:

- massage 10 series = $1500
- acupuncture/herbalism sessions to work on something which was not responding to western medicine = $500
- jewelry (handmade small artisan) = $2500
- probably going to buy an oura ring = $500

This is inspiring.

For some reason over the past year or so I've been obsessed with the idea of learning to play the lyre or some kind of small harp. I should probably just do it.

Several years ago, I set aside $3000 for something “special” — whatever that might turn out to be: from travel to an extravagant purchase. I ended up taking music lessons. That was enough for my first two instruments and over a year of lessons. I was welcome into a new community of musicians and enjoyed more than a few life-changing experiences.

So, I’d go with some kind of course or learning experience, that also might come with a new peer group to enjoy. I’d also probably just set the money aside until something came up that I really really wanted to do.
